Overview
The luxurious Mayfair Hotel and Spa is located in the center of Coconut Grove, a hip neighborhood known for its energy and charm. The Mayfair boasts a bamboo garden adjacent to the main lobby for a tropical and tranquil area with complimentary Wi-Fi access. The Lotus Terrace on the second floor has a living room ambiance where guests are invited to unwind and mingle. The deluxe guest suites feature hand carved mahogany headboards/stone floors and marble bathrooms. Guests can indulge in-room spa services provided by Jurlique Spa or they can visit the 4,500 sq. ft. spa located on the second floor. Other amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi in guest rooms/24 hour room service same day laundry and dry cleaning/in room coffee maker/business stations with printer/valet parking and multi-language Clefs Dor concierge staff. Located at the hotel is the popular Ginger Grove restaurant with Asian-inspired dishes that are intended to be shared. Ginger Groves décor follows Asian influences with plush banquettes / jewel-toned silk wrapped walls and ebonized plank flooring. Guests are encouraged to find tranquility within an ideal location to access all the goings-on of its surroundings. Each suite has a spa tub on terrace or in suite roman tub, complimentary WiFi in most rooms and all public areas/living room style lobby/complimentary wine hour from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm daily/plasma TVs in each suite and LCD TVs in each bathroom/pet friendly/Jurlique Spa using only the organic Jurlique products/central to downtown Miami/Coral Gables and Miami International Airport.

We were curious why there was no trash can in the bedroom area. Only bathroom. The coffee pot in the bathroom had no plug near by. Had to bring the coffee pot over to the sink to plug in.
Overall, we enjoyed our visit and would stay again.

Excellent Place to Stay

My wife and I checked in on Sat (4-18 ) and stayed until 4-21. The hotel staff, especially Vera the afternoon supervisor, was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and very up-to-date. The location combined with the price of the hotel makes this place a steal. The pool on the rooftop was unique with great service and views. This hotel has become our favorite hotel in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area. Thank you and keep up the great work to the Mayfair Hotel staff.

The Mayfair offers a nice, welcoming property without the hustle of South Beach. Located in Coconut Grove, guests can experience several dining options within walking distance. The rooms have ample space and are well equipped with the modern day luxury necessities. This property offers great value in a quaint atmosphere.

Front desk service very good, valet was polite and professional. Three female bartenders at the rooftop bar-need customer service training-BADLY!!! Male bartender was very good. First room was 454-smelled horrible-like a dirty men's public restroom-there was trash strewn about the patio area. Front desk moved us, without any hassle. Second room 306 hot tub was absolutely filthy!! The rest of the property was very nice and clean. More attention needs to be spent to the outdoor areas.

Nice Place

My boyfriend and I come to this hotel once a month to getaway or to have a fun night or 2 without having to worry about drinking and driving home. The price for the hotel room was great ($129)..We usually love this this place because it's clean, relaxing, and friendly. All the rooms are different. Usually clean. Although, this time the room was a little dirty (the comforter had some stains). This is not a place for children, and as a guest there, I would prefer not to hear them as well. If you like a quiet hotel DON'T STAY HERE. Everytime I read reviews the #1 complaint I hear, is that it was noisy. That's to be expected, it's in the middle of EVERYTHING. It's a really nice place and the service is great, everyone there is really friendly. I would recommend it. Only complaint is the parking charge, $26 dollars per night! That's just ridiculous! And you have to wait forever for someone to turn on the hot tub (just ask for it to be ready before you get there) problem solved =)

A Stop Off Point on Our Way to Key West

We loved this place. It was a little hard to find as it sits back off the main drag. The amenities were great, the decor was calming yet elegant. Although there were clubs and shopping right across the street, we were above the nightlife and had no problem getting settled in. The private balcony was great, though we arrived too late to consider having the staff fill the hot tub. We'd definitely stay here again - we'd make it a destination.

Comfortable open-air feeling with spacious green welcoming spaces. Atmosphere quiet and secluded but right in the middle of the busiest part of Coconut Grove. Rooms spacious with hot tub on bamboo-shaded balcony ideal for relaxation. Staff welcoming but unobtrusive.
