Overview
No, it's not a painted backdrop. You really are looking out your window at waterfalls, Saguaro cacti and 100 magnificent acres of a lush desert sanctuary. Tee off on one of two signature 18-hole Tom Fazio PGA golf courses. Cool down in a pool or chill out at the spa. Dine at the Ventana Room, Tucson's only 5-diamond restaurant. Did you ever imagine that business and pleasure could unite so effortlessly? Well, this is no desert mirage.

Nice Property but Maybe Too Big
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
Fortunately, we stayed at this hotel when there was very low occupancy. Room was fine and the property itself is very nice. However, it is a very large hotel and getting around is not the easiest. Personnel where all very friendly, the service was good and the food at all restaurants was above average. However, I could easily see how there could be many issues when the hotel is full, as the common areas and restaurants don't appear to be large enough to handle the number of people you would have with high occupancy. -Robert Neeb , from Wake Forest, United States - 10/14/2009
Relaxing In-Town Get Away
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
Had a lovely time at an in-town get away. You really feel like you are getting away from it all and forget it's your hometown! Loved the bathtubs the quiet spa pool, and the food was quite good! The main pool was a bit crowded all the time. With the size of the resort they might want to add another family pool, just an idea. Great scenery and views! -Carmen, from TUCSON , United States - 9/11/2009
Memorable Anniversary
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
My husband and I spent our 4th anniversary at the Lowes Ventana Resort in Tucson. From the moment we arrived until the second we left we were made to feel special, the staff was wonderful as was the surroundings. Eric at the pool side bar/cafe was not only helpful but upbeat with wonderful conversation. We were so very happy with our stay we WILL be back for another stay in the future. -Lori Cooper , from Phoenix, United States - 9/3/2009
Very Pretty Place
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
The room was nice & sights were beautiful, but a few things were disappointing. First, one reason we selected this hotel was their fabulous Ventana Room restaurant. Imagine our surprise when we found out upon arrival that the Ventana Room is closed all summer. Also, our room featured a nice little balcony that offered no privacy whatsoever. They were actually positioned so they were facing directly at other balconies! Finally, internet access in the room cost $12 per day. "Free" internet access was available in the lobby on a desktop PC. Of course, "free" means "put in a credit card so we can authorize $30 to start - then, the first 15 minutes are free and after that we will charge you by the minute." I ended up being on line for 5 minutes and printing out a 2 page map and directions. As a result, my credit card was charged 54 cents (2 pgs @ 27 cents each). For a first-class hotel, that seems like nickel & diming. The staff was all friendly & courteous. -Laura Bowman , from NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, United States - 8/23/2009

Jewel in Tucson Foothills
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
This property is nestled right into the beautiful Catalina Mountains. The property blends in very nicely with the environment and offers a great pool area, fantastic golf (Mountain course is stunning), great wildlife, wonderful hikes, and access to great food. Tucson has a surprising number of high-end restaurants and nice shopping. This property is a great place to getaway to a great location. It is about a two hour drive from Phx airport to this property or 45 minutes from Tucson airport. -Eric, from San Mateo, United States - 12/27/2007
