We had 2 issues with this hotel; Firstly, we booked a package which included breakfast. The first night, we went down to the only cafe in the lobby which was extremely crowded, noisy and self serve. The breakfast package should have included eating in a better facility with service. The second day we arranged for room service which was much better although it arrived 15 minutes late and there was only one chair in the room to eat from. Secondly, the room AC was not working. The temperature hovered around 80F and I advised the desk on the second morning. On our return that evening, the thermostat had been reset from 70F to 78F. I turned it down again but the system still didn't work. It was 78 all night. Upon advising the desk at check out, the person asked me what I think the hotel should do to satisfy me?? I suggested a credit to which he agreed and reduced the bill by $100. -Manuel Ravinsky , from Toronto, Canada - 7/30/2009

We have found that most hotels when checking in will tell you what that hotel has to offer and where you can find things, this is not true with the Westin! When asking the Concierge anything it was like he didn't have the time of day to point us in the right direction! I don't think we will visit this hotel again. -Shelly Sneva , from stanwood, United States - 2/23/2009

The location was great but we were disappointed that there was no complimentary upgrade [based on availability] for Perfect Escapes members, no complimentary dressing gowns, especially given that the price was for a 4+ star hotel. -Sharon, from SNOHOMISH, United States - 10/20/2008

Our room was upgraded and it was absolutely fabulous with a gorgeous view of the Puget Sound and downtown Seattle. Christina at the front desk who checked us in, made us feel very welcome and gave us great tips on where to eat late at night since we arrived near midnight. I will definitely stay at this hotel again next time I am in Seattle and I will use the Perfect Escapes website next time I travel. -Joe Bryson , from Austin, United States - 9/1/2008

We walked to the Mariners game, Pike Place market and all the shopping we could handle. The location is great, the fitness area was great, we will definitely go back. -Tate Mackenzie, from Calgary, Canada - 8/27/2008

You seemed to need to ask for everything -- long waits for concierge, extra charges for stamps(an ugly first), adequate rooms. -Christopher Weil, from Del Mar, United States - 10/25/2007
