Where's the Coffee?

Staff very friendly, nice large room and good bathroom, very helpful concierge. But food choices limited and too fussy, buffet breakfast poor apart from excellent fresh fruit. Handy location. Outstanding lift system - very little waiting. Half hour free internet for guests very useful. Have to access nearby Starbucks for coffee after about 11am - shut on weekends.

Hotel did not live up to standards -- we were given a room that had not been cleaned since the last checkout; next we were given a room where the drapes did not close all the way as they were not wide enough by about 2'. We had to move twice before we were settled. The hotel did provide a bottle of champagne and a birthday cake for Mr. Thomas as an apology. Needless to say, we will not be staying at the Fairmont in the future. We certainly expected more from a 4-star hotel.

Presidents Club

I am not sure what it means to be a member of the President's Club. Our dinner coupons were not recognized, there was no complimentary coffee and a late check out was not permitted. So please tell me the advantage? Very disappointing! Thanks!
