A Top Choice in Chicago

Conrad Chicago is well located just off Michigan Ave. Rooms are exceptionally large, bathrooms among the best you'll find. A good real tub is important to me, because I always take a bath at night. These are real bathtubs, not foot baths. There's a separate shower, and a separate room with door for privacy on the toilet. The linens are top grade Pratesi sheets--not the hotel grade, but in fact exactly the same as I have at home. The mattress is very comfortable, the air conditioning functions perfectly, and the lighting is more than adequate, which is pretty unusual. Bar drinks are good. I've been here before, and will certainly return.

Poor Room

We were given a very small room with a very horrible odor. Friends had stayed at the same hotel a month prior and had a much better room. We only had a shower, no tub and no coffee maker in the room. Very old carpet. No pool or hot tub. Very good location in Chicago. Good staff.

I-190 E out of terminal. Follow signs for I-90 East (Kennedy Expressway) to the Ohio Street exit (50B). Ohio Street is a one-way street going east. Continue going east on Ohio. Turn right on Rush Street and pass Grand Avenue. Hotel entrance is one and a half blocks down on the left, between Grand Avenue and Illinois Street.

Cicero Avenue northbound to I-55 North(Stevenson Expressway). Take I-55 to I-90 / 94 West. Follow I-90 / 94 West to the Ohio Street exit (50B). Ohio Street is a one-way street going east. Continue going east on Ohio. Turn right on Rush Street and pass Grand Avenue. Hotel entrance is one and a half blocks down on the left, between Grand Avenue and Illinois Street.
