First Time in Vegas
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
This was our first visit to Vegas & we found the whole experience exciting if a little tiring.
Planet Hollywood is ideally placed, being almost in the center of the Strip. We only ate in The Spice Market which was OK with vast choice of foods but slightly cafeteria-like - very busy & the service was sometimes slow. The rooms were really spacious with a huge bathroom but are much too dark & with very little clothes space in such a large area. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the housekeeping services excellent.
The Miracle Mile around the hotel was good fun with many good restaurants. The reception, concierge and bell boy service was always polite, helpful & efficient.
All in all, a comfortable and quite luxurious stay. -Bernard, from Bishopston, Wales - 11/5/2009

The service was great, the room was spectacular. The hotel overall was amazing. I can't wait to go back next time for pleasure, not business.

The room was very nice - large, great view, nice bathroom. Beds need some work, not up to standard. -Charles, from Marietta, United States - 10/23/2009

Everything was good except I asked for no smoking, and my room was pretty gross smelling, like stale smoke. -Jon Holley , from Dewitt, United States - 10/23/2009

Our package included a free upgrade so the room was spacious but I'm afraid that the regular rooms may be extremely small. -Balnca Varela, from Chino, United States - 9/10/2009
Girls Weekend in Vegas
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
4 girls going for an annual post-college trip. Were upgraded to a bigger room, staff was very accommodating. Disappointed that the club Prive was closed (lost liquor license) and we had to flag down a security guard to find out why it wasn't open. Great location, okay pool scene but good for relaxing. Would definitely stay here again for the price! -Mandy, from Gaithersburg, United States - 8/13/2009
Planet Hollywood Las Vegas
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
I arrived on a Friday and the line for check-in was extremely long. I waited for over an hour and a half. I heard that the hotel was short staffed and did not have enough people checking people in. I was advised that check-in on Fridays are usually that long which is surprising because out of the many times I've been to Vegas, I have not waited nearly that long. The hotel rooms were spacious and nicely decorated for standard rooms. It was different than the other hotels on the strip. The service for the room was OK because when I attempted to contact front desk or room service, there were times when it took a long time for someone to answer or sometimes no one answered. -Billy Kang , from Anaheim Hills, United States - 8/13/2009

Great Hotel
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
I think that this hotel was a great place to stay for my first time in Vegas. It's modern, and located in the heart of the strip. There are many things to do including dining at some great restaurants, including the Spice Market Buffet, which was delicious, shopping on Miracle Mile, and gambling. The hotel rooms are spacious, modern, and clean. Room service is excellent and steadfast. I would definitely return to Planet Hollywood. -Abigail Dela Cruz , from Fairfax, United States - 7/30/2009
Hip Hotel
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
Clean and spacious rooms. Very centrally located. The casino has a good variety of games and the Pleasure Pit Dancers were a fun addition. Highly recommend the hotel however the nightclub Prive should be avoided. The doormen are really the salesmen for table service and tried so many switch and bait tactics that it was a complete turn off. -Shelley Ma , from Daly City, United States - 7/30/2009
The Scene
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
Overall I had a great experience. There are two things about this hotel I do not like. One is the lighting in the rooms - it is so dark that you search for any available light source and turn it on. The other is that the self-park is part of the mall and you walk for 10 minutes through the mall. Which in return beats waiting for your car (even at 8AM on a Sunday) for 20 minutes in the valet. Otherwise the hotel was great and I love the mall. -Beate, from Culver City, United States - 7/30/2009

We requested a roll away bed but it didn't arrive even after several phone calls. I also called the maintenance dept. to fix our light but never came. Didn't have great service at all. -Donaleen Francisco , from Harbor City, United States - 5/21/2009

I love the rooms here, but when I checked in this time I had been upgraded to a Panorama Suite. AMAZING!!! This is the first time I've used your services to book a room in Vegas, and I was very appreciative of the ease of use and great prices. I go to Vegas for business every 6 weeks, and I will be using your website from now on. I will also recommend this site to friends and family! -Cyndy Gunn , from West Jordan, United States - 5/12/2009

My friend's purse was almost taken but we intercepted the thieves. The hotel did nothing about it accept to have us write what happened in an incident report. -Stephanie Davis , from Las Vegas, United States - 5/10/2009
Great Price for a Nice, Simple, Clean, Room
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
Overall the Planet Hollywood was a great Hotel/Casino. It was clean, modern, and fresh. The service was good, the food was good, the atmosphere was great. Seems to attract a younger, hipper crowd. The Heart Bar is a great little place to wind down after a night out or just a cool place to lounge. Planet Dailies is a great place to grab a bite any time of day, but it could be a little less expensive. Prive, the in-house club, was great. It definitely gets packed and the music is LOUD. Apparently, there are only 4 sound systems made per year in the world and Prive got one of them. Prive was fun, but compared to Tao Beach and XS, it is nothing special, but still worth checking out. The Michael Jackson impersonator was awesome and the DJ was great. Gentleman, check out the Pleasure Pit, makes losing money playing poker and blackjack all the more worthwhile. Ladies, check out the Miracle Mile. Overall, Planet Hollywood was great and I would definitely come back and stay here. -Mitchell Sandifer , from San Clemente, United States - 4/2/2009
Poor Sevice - Poor Value and Quality
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
At check in at one pm we were told our room was going to be ready at 6pm. After waiting around for 5 hours, we were told our room was not available anymore and were put in a much lesser room- smoking & king bed & poor view. We requested and were promised = non-smoking room, 2 queen size beds with a frontal view of the strip and the Bellagio. The room was run down and lights broken. Decoration missing, carpet dirty and so on. We are EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! -Agnes Winter , from Beverly Hills, United States - 3/22/2009

My stay at the Planet Hollywood was great. Check in was great, the room was suburb! - Yes, we did get an upgrade. The restaurants were all wonderful that we tried! The employees were extremely nice. The place was great, and we would definitely go back - we would also use Perfect Escapes again. The girl I talked to, that set up my reservation was wonderful! -Margaret Romano, from Hazelwood, United States - 1/5/2009

This hotel had everything you could want including both Koi and Strip House on the premises. Koi was amazing and I highly recommend the tasting platter. The casino was very high energy and well suited for anyone on vacation not with a family. I will stay at Planet Hollywood again. -Jeffrey Salassa , from Sterling Heights, United States - 9/11/2008
Not Good Customer Service
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
I actually forgot some articles in my room after checking out. Upon returning home I had called and really expected better customer service. Promises do not go far and they do not follow through. Sure it was my fault that I forgot the articles but still they should have attempted to assist me, their follow up was a joke. Maybe because I only lost a few thousand in their casino I'm not a valued customer. Well then I guess they will not miss my future business as well. -Richard Amberson , from Macedonia, United States - 7/28/2008
