Overview
Huka Lodge is a world-renowned luxury retreat situated within seven acres of park-like grounds, 300m upstream from the mighty Huka Falls.
Recreational opportunities are numerous within the magnificent scenery of the surrounding area. The crystal clear waters of Lake Taupo are fed by mountain streams and are home to some of the most sought-after Rainbow trout in the world. The spectacular and mighty cascades of water forming the Huka Falls are a short walk from Huka Lodge, on the banks of the Waikato River.
It has just twenty Lodge Rooms, tucked along the riverbank for privacy, and nestled amongst the trees. While the main Lodge building has an understated elegance and is a welcoming haven where guests can relax during the day and gather in the evening for pre-dinner drinks.
Huka Lodge cuisine is outstanding and showcases the best of New Zealand's food and wine.

Directions to the Property from Auckland: Follow SH1 to Taupo. Turn left at Huka Falls sign. Huka Lodge is 1 mile on the left.
Directions to the Property from Wellington: Follow SH1 through Taupo. Turn right at Huka Falls sign. Huka Lodge is 2 miles on right.
Transportation:
Free shuttle transportation available to/from primary airport and to town.
Helicopter transfers can be arranged between Auckland + Huka Lodge. Also between Huka Lodge and other lodges with helipads.
