Overview
The Talbott Hotel is located at 20 East Delaware Place, an elegant tree lined street in the heart of Chicago's prestigious Gold Coast. Just off Michigan Avenue, our guests have immediate access to some of the world's most sophisticated shopping, fine dining, and entertainment.
The Talbott Hotel was built in 1927. Now completely renovated, this charming European-style Hotel is a soothing oasis for the business traveler.
The lobby is akin to a Victorian sitting room. There are two fireplaces which form a focal point. Fireside coffee service is a special feature in the lobby each evening during the winter months. The overall ambiance is one of quiet elegance.
Steps away from Michigan Avenue, sophisticated shopping, fine dining, clubs, theatres, and shows. Blocks from the business addresses of national and international corporations.

Beginning at the street, returning guests and new comers will notice a beautiful new awning with matching cafe umbrellas, a gorgeous granite entrance way and sparkling brass revolving doors.
The magic continues in the lobby, which has an expanded foyer and elegant marble floor. Further improvements abound in the guest rooms, with state-of-the-art door locks, light switches and thermostats, which interact wirelessly with the newly installed climate-control system. Regardless of these material upgrades, the Talbott Hotel will always provide the warm and inviting stay that guests continually return for.

Great Hotel All Around

This hotel was perfect for all our needs: Friendly, helpful staff provided great service, our room was spacious, nicely decorated, and CLEAN, the hotel is in walking distance of EVERYTHING (shopping, fancy to fast food restaurants, grocery stores, night spots, site seeing, subway), and we felt safe walking to and from the hotel for late night dinners. We will stay there again for sure.

Upon our arrival we were showered with attention! We were upgraded to a suite and it was wonderful. The hotel is amazingly quiet and it is very clean. We will definitely stay here on our next trip into the city.

Wonderful Small Hotel

Our visit to Chicago was absolutely wonderful. The staff at The Talbott was top notch. The lobby is small and tasteful. Our room was lovely with a large bathroom (jetted tub). The location was convenient but not right on a busy street. You don't get a view here, but everything else is fabulous. Gene, the concierge made great suggestions for meals. We upgraded to the larger room because we were there 4 nights. It made us feel we could relax in the room and not be too confined. I would definitely return to this hotel.

Lovely Hotel but Construction Going on Just Outsid

Hotel was located close to shopping, good restaurants and museums. Our room was very spacious and lovely our only complaint was that construction was going on right outside our window and we were not able to sleep in due to the noise. Wish we had known before we checked into the room.
