Overview
The Luna Hotel Baglioni, the oldest hotel in Venice, stands in the heart of the city, just a few steps from the Piazza San Marco, overlooking San Giorgio Island. This aristocratic hotel dates from the 12th century, when it served as a shelter for the Knights Templar.
Ornate public rooms boast soaring frescoed ceilings, Murano chandeliers, antique furniture, fresh flowers, and excellent paintings. Guest rooms and suites, many of which have balconies overlooking the Grand Canal, are splendidly appointed with period-style furnishings, silk fabrics, magnificent chandeliers and objects of art.
The warm and elegant Canova Restaurant features traditional dishes of the Veneto region and fine Italian cuisine.

Stay At Hotel Luna Baglioni Venice

We stayed for two nights in early March, and we really think we had made a very good choice. The hotel is very very central, almost next to Harry's bar, and the view from our balcony was fantastic. We had made a reservation for a standard double room, which was kind of small for a five star, but everything else was really satisfactory.
Breakfast was served in a beautiful room and was really fantastic.
In all, we had a fantastic time at the Luna.
