Overview
The celebrated Driskill Hotel located in downtown Austin in the heart of the business entertainment and historic districts offers historic accommodations with the modern luxuries of today. They have really worked on their service. It was impeccable and the room was beautiful. This hotel, in the heart of downtown Austin, is a perfect place to stay.

When I arrived at the hotel, my room was upgraded to the Governor's room, all the staff was very friendly, and since I was proposing to my girlfriend that night, they helped me plan the whole ordeal, and gave us a champagne toast on top of that. Just outstanding service! The food at the restaurant was also fantastic!
