Overview
Balinese believe that a path leading through Amandari to the Ayung River below is sacred ground and the resort echoes this sentiment. Amandari could be a Balinese village, with river-stone walkways lined with statues and shrines, gardens and high stone walls. Walk under a Balinese-style gateway front, through your private, walled court yard garden to your luxurious thatched roof suite, and savour the elegance of marble flooring, wall sized sliding glass doors and beautiful exposed timber.
Each terrace suite features a large combined bedroom and living room, with all facilities, including a bar and music system. In a duplex suite, the living room and bar are located on the ground level, with the bedroom and its queen-size bed on the second level and each of the eleven terrace and duplex suites come with private swimming pool.
The Restaurant, open to the country air and crafted largely of teak wood, overlooks Amandari's swimming pool and the gorge. The Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and specializes in Western and Indonesian dishes.

We were taken care of from the time we landed 'til we left Bali. Friendly and gracious staff working hard to fulfill your needs and wants- went beyond the call of duty. Facilities in tip-top condition. Food excellent. Spa clean; massage relaxing...almost went to sleep. Location superb. Villa- inviting, comfortable,understated elegance - feels like home. Bali is private and cozy. Grounds were lush green, fresh and well-kept. Balinese feast catered by hotel in decorated bale, and started off with a performance by the local girls' Balinese troupe. The staff went the extra mile to make it an unforgettable experience for us. The driver was superb- his knowledge and skills made our specific shopping items easy to attain, he drove us safely back to the airport at the end of our trip. Would I recommend this package - in a heartbeat. We went during the low season and found it heavenly.
